CABIN  INTRODUCTION

      Our small cabin is remote and private, one quarter mile hike up, 300 feet elevation above parking.  It contains a double bed, sheets, blankets, 2 hammocks, 2 foam sleeping mats, outdoor toilet under porch, rain water wash and flush tank 2000 gallons when full, bar-b-q grill (bring own charcoal). Help yourselves to any left from former guests, ice cooler, bring ice or I will supply a few trays from fridge, trade wind breezes, tree frogs calling at night and hardly any bugs.  We have over 10,000 coqui frogs/acre nightly eating mosquitoes. There is a mosquito net on rare occasion of rogue mosquito. NO ELECTRICITY IN CABIN.  Bring your own flashlights.  Views to East shore (8 miles), Vieques island 16 miles, Naguabo valley and river, and a rainforest waterfall.  Bring food to cook or plan to go to our 2 suppers only restaurants.  One is only a short walk (1/4 mile) the other is about 1 mile up road for dinners sometimes available 5-9pm.  On request we can sometimes shop for guests with our own shopping.   We have a 12 acre exotic fruit farm with over 100 varieties that guests can sample from in season. Coconuts available year round.  You may have to pick your own.  We have pole pickers. Our home freezer, shower, towels, bathroom, coffee maker and kitchen are available to our guests.  Guests can use our electric on porch to charge phones etc.   We are 90 minutes drive from the airport-IF NO STOPS OR WORK TRAFFIC. 20 minutes to groceries-restaurants in Naguabo.  Nearby, there are hikes in the rainforest, waterfalls with clean swimming holes and safe drinking water, our fruit farm and Taino-Carib rock carvings.  Beaches are close in Naguabo or 35 minutes north to Luquillo or South to Palmas del Mar.    We can show you a map or offer guided tours.  Borrow our bamboo walking sticks.  Borrow or buy our plastic ponchos $3.  $40.00/day/couple for first 2 nights and $30.00 additional nights plus $10 each extra  person.  $5 discounts to former guests.  For reservations, please notify us of your dates and after our confirmation of their availability send us cash, check or money order for those dates by U.S. mail, not certified (These have to be picked up at post office.) to hold reservation. PLEASE ADVISE US OF YOUR ARRIVAL TIME SO WE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO GREET AND HELP YOU AND INCLUDE YOUR CEL PHONE NUMBER.
