Directions from San Juan Airport

Take ROUTE 26 to Carolina from San Juan airport, ROUTE 3 to Fajardo which runs into ROUTE 53 south (0.50 toll) to Naguabo. Exit at "SALIDA 22, Juncos-Rio Blanco". Take a right on route 31, 0.5 miles to 191 (just before iron bridge on left).  Set car odometer to Zero.  We are about 3.7 miles from start of route 191.  The route 191 crosses a second bridge (concrete and 90 degrees on left) then up mountain to km 24.2 just after small white Evangelical Church on left. Our entrance is on left about 150 yards. Watch for our small sign "PHILLIPS" on the left around corner and our sign  "CABANAS del YUNQUE" on a lighted telephone pole on right opposite our driveway on the left.  PAST US ON LEfT IS AN ABANDONED RESTAURANT.  PARK off road AT THE BOTTOM OF OUR DRIVEWAY.  Call (787) 874-2138 or (787) 414 9596 if lost.  From Fajardo you will come out on route 53. From San Juan airport to us allow at least 90 minutes driving time if no stops or heavy traffic. (Please do not use 191 from North! We are not connected with them since 1973.)

Direction from Ponce (South)

From Ponce, on route 52 going north, look for route 30 Humacao exit on right, follow route 30 to Naguabo exit route 31 on right, next look for route 191 on left after bridge. Follow route 191 along river, left on new bridge, pass big green church on right, then watch for small white church on left. We are next driveway on left, have 2 small signs at km. 24.2. Past us on left is abandoned restaurant. It is best if you arrive before dark to go to cabin or tent sites.
